Upcoming in March at Darpana Reflector Series

Learning is an integral part of classical arts. It should never stop!! 

A great part of learning feeds through showcases and performances. The more you perform the more you learn. Performance is a great motivator to learn and prepare ourselves for facing the audience and carry what we have been taught, on our shoulders to the satisfaction of our soul. 

This wing of Darpana Reflector Series, serves as a medium / platform to showcase established artists as well as up & coming artists pursuing any of the Indian Classical Art Form in an intimate setting. While esteemed artists are hosted by invitation, aspiring students will be hand picked after careful review based on submission of an application. These performances are held only in person at our studio in Dublin, CA. There will be a nominal entry ticket for viewers. Part of the funds collected will be donated to artists in need. Our next Kala Pradarshini monthly performance for this year is a Bharatanatyam solo showcase by Pavitra Krishna Bhat which will be held on March 23rd, 2025 Sunday from 6:00 PM PST onwards at 7000 Village Parkway, Suite H, Dublin, CA

This wing of Darpana Reflector Series, is the creative off shoot of Nritya Laya Darpan which serves as a platform and a forum for all classical dance students and aspirants, especially, Bharatanatyam, to reflect upon some valuable areas of the art form and its allied areas of art forms. Part of the fees collected for these workshops will be donated to artists in need as a philanthropic initiative by DRS. Stay tuned for our next workshop/lec-dem.
